This is a jam track in A minor in the style of Red Hot Chili Peppers and John Frusciante. The chord progression in the main section is Am, C, G, F, and in the quieter section it just hangs around A minor.
Minor pentatonic scales work well, but also try aeolian and dorian shapes to mix it up. I like to play B to A over G major and F major to harmonise it in thirds or F to E to harmonise in sevenths.
“Sauropoda” defies description; one minute it’s funneling the sound of Afrobeat through synths, the next it’s floating off into space. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 28, 2019
Woozy music from the great Adhesive Sounds label that conjures strange, expansive dreamscapes with bleary synths & distant vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 22, 2017
