This is a cool backing track in the style of Jimi. The chords go E min, A maj, G maj, A maj for the first section then it goes B maj, Bb maj, A maj, G maj, A maj, E min, G maj, A maj, E min in the next section.
Tempo: 74bpm
Key: A Dorian

TIPS:
Mostly you can stick with A minor pentatonic/blues scales for this, as Mr Hendrix probably would, but definitely add in the major sixth note (3 semitones below the root) for that awesome dorian sound. I also sometimes just go for the full seven-note diatonic dorian mode.
The inspiration for this came mostly from the song Hey Baby (New Rising Sun), which I really love. I was trying to replicate the kind of triad progressions Jimi might have played. I ended up double tracking the guitar with a normal sound on the left then a more trebly one on the right. The drum groove with the bell on every quaver was exactly the sound I was looking for.
